Friends Life Care Team Walks to End Alzheimer’s
By 2050, the number of people age 65 and older with Alzheimer’s dementia is anticipated to reach or even surpass 12.7 million. To raise awareness and gather donations for Alzheimer’s research and care, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s event is held annually.
A team from Friends Life Care participated again in 2022 joining over 600 communities nationwide in support of this worthy cause.

The group of Friends Life Care employees and friends put on their walking shoes and met at a local park on Saturday, November 12. It was rainy in the morning but the weather cleared in time for their Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
With the generosity of employees, friends, and family, sponsorship dollars for the walk surpassed the fundraising goal of $1,500. Team raised $1,815! A big thank you to Katie Starrantino for leading this annual volunteer event.
