The 16th “Best of Friends” Award Ceremony
We are pleased to announce that the 16th Best of Friends Award Ceremony has been held by Friends Life Care. This marks many years of rewarding and celebrating exceptional home health aides.
Delivering the Important Friends Life Care Mission

These home health aides are truly the unsung heroes of the health care industry.
And they demonstrate their professionalism by the quality of care they provide to members of Friends Life Care.
The admirable award bestowed upon them reflects the importance of the decades long mission of Friends Life Care — to help people remain in their home as they age.
Caregivers Have a Compassionate Calling
Caregivers are nominated by Friends Life Care members, the very people who they serve. The care recipients and their families submit a write-up of what makes their own caregiver extraordinary. A common theme found in these nominations is that these caregivers consider their work to be a compassionate calling — not just a job.
Caregivers were honored for their significant contribution to the wellbeing of the Friends Life Care members they serve – people often challenged by significant health concerns as they age in their own homes.
An Expression of Gratitude
Our members and their families recognize the caregiver’s commitment and dedication and welcome the chance to express gratitude through

their nomination.
Winners of a Best of Friends Award receive both a cash prize and a personalized certificate. Friends Life Care is grateful for their dedication to caregiving!
In years past, the ceremony has taken place during a luncheon with a presentation of awards. Given the continuing impact of COVID-19, the awards were hand delivered by members of our Care Coordination department to recipients individually or through their company.
The program began during the last week of November and ran into early this year. November is National Home Care and Hospice Month and we could not think of a better way to commemorate it.
The 2022 Best of Friends winners and the provider company they represent follow:
