Friends Life Care Team Gives Back
Every year, to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the team at Friends Life Care does something charitable to give back to our community and honor his legacy. Our inspiration is Dr. King’s own words: “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?'”
This year, it was decided to get involved and collect items for Family Promise Montco PA. From their website, here is more about the organization and the good work they do. “For more than 40 years, Family Promise Montco PA (formerly Inter-Faith Housing Alliance) has partnered with religious congregations, dedicated volunteers, and generous donors to help Montgomery County families experiencing poverty and homelessness. The services offered — emergency food relief; emergency, transitional, and supportive housing; and aftercare —help families to preserve their dignity and work toward or maintain self-sufficiency.”

In support of their mission and goals, Friends Life Care was able to collect and donate the following items to make a difference in the lives of people who are in need:
- 142 pairs of socks
- 13 boxes of tissues
- 22 packs of disinfecting containers
- 34 bottles of various cleaning products
We are grateful to Family Promise for the important services they provide. And we appreciate everyone on the Friends Life Care team who participated in this initiative to give back.
