Here are a few new ones that you will certainly not want to miss:
Take a Backstage Tour & Attend a Play at the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia
Join us to take a backstage tour of the world famous Walnut Street Theatre. This tour is led by one of Philly’s favorite actors, Fran Prisco. Then attend a matinee. The Young Frankenstein: It’s Alive! play is on stage. This play comes from creators of the Broadway hit, The Producers. And it is hailed as an “electrifying musical stage adaptation of Mel Brooks’ brilliantly funny film that will leave you in stitches”.
Through Friends Life Care, you get a combination package for the tour and play.
Attend a Workshop: Navigating the Doctor-Patient Relationship
Navigating the healthcare system has always had its challenges. But modern medicine makes it even more complex. Finding the right fit and building a good relationship with your physician can help. Dr. Donald M. Friedman presents on this important topic. This workshop will be held at the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill. It’s free to all who register.
Tour the Historic Pearl S. Buck House
Join us to tour the Pearl S. Buck House in Perkasie, PA (Bucks County). This National Historic Landmark was the actual home of Pulitzer and Nobel award-winning author, Pearl Buck and her family. During the tour, you will walk the inviting grounds, see the magnificent gardens and tour the house.
The house has an Exhibit Gallery and holds treasures like the typewriter she used to write The Good Earth. Published in 1931, this novel became a US best seller in fiction and the rich storytelling is timeless. It is easy to suggest that you read it if you have not yet had the chance.
Check Out an Online Webinar
If you are not able to attend in person, you can still participate in the VigR line-up this fall by viewing an online webinar. Simply visit the wellness webinar library. Then you can view the webinar when it is given live or watch a recording later.
