Katelyn joined Friends Life Care in 2022 and holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Stockton University. Katelyn has been working in the healthcare field for 6 years. During this time, she has worked with interdisciplinary teams in rehabilitation and nursing centers in Pennsylvania and New York. She has held positions on short-term, long-term, and dementia units. Katelyn supported residents in this setting throughout the pandemic as a frontline worker.

Prior to working in skilled nursing, Katelyn coordinated medical and behavioral health needs for veterans and conducted intake assessments for outpatient substance abuse patients. Katelyn is certified in Mental Health First Aid. Her skills include coordination of care, psychosocial assessment, discharge planning, patient advocacy and family education.

Katelyn is passionate about supporting families adjust to healthcare challenges with a patient-centered approach. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and has a passion for animal advocacy. Some of her personal interests include cooking, traveling, art and dance.
