The Michener Art Museum collects both historic and contemporary American works. The Michener serves as a significant educational resource on the rich tradition of Bucks County and American art. The Special Exhibit at the time of our tour is: “The Death of Impressionism? Disruption and Innovation in Art.” This exhibit shows the stylistic transformations, changing patterns of taste and cultural shifts as they pertain to the past century of American art.
