This presentation will explore the effects of alcohol, drugs, anxiety and depression on the brain. Learn what science tells us about how certain drugs, including prescription medications and medical marijuana, may affect the brain as we age. Also, learn why mental health is especially important for brain health in older adults.

Presentation leader, J. Cobb Scott, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania where he conducts research on brain health and alcohol, drugs and psychiatric disorders.
