Friends Life Care: Walking to End Alzheimer’s
A team from Friends Life Care headed to the trails, paths and walks on November 14. They took this step to join the annual “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” event raising money and bringing awareness to this devastating health issue.
“Today, as I completed my 5k, I felt hopeful. I think about the money raised, all the people walking, and the tireless work of employees and volunteers at the Alzheimer’s Association and I am overwhelmed with the feeling that together, we will end Alzheimer’s.”
— Katie Starrantino, Friends Life Care Wellness Coordinator
Everyone walked on their own this year to maintain social distancing due to COVID-19. But even while apart, the passion and action of this team of 12 brought them all together as one.
