Presented in Partnership with Friends in the City (FitC) Sleep is crucial to health and well-being, yet millions of American forgo sufficient sleep or suffer from sleep problems. Left untreated, sleep problems can take a toll on health and reduce quality of life. Dr. Phil Gehrman is a researcher on insomnia and a clinician who treats sleep disorders. He'll provide techniques for maximizing sleep, separate truth from myth and help participants recognize and manage sleep issues. This three-session workshop introduces the science of sleep, and the relationship between sleep, health and longevity. You'll keep a sleep diary and get an interpretation to help improve sleep habits.
